Gulp. . . .Ma friggin gaylander would not start [fire up] this morning. . . .so porky checked fuse =ok checked fuel pmp relay=good dissconected lift pmp output pipe turned on ign=nuffink not er friggin dribble. . . .so stipped it all down [wot a stupid fookin design] stuck 12voltares on lift pmp and got soaked in doozle :mad: :mad: :mad: so changed fuel filter [this is after the pmp ] as i had it all apart anyhows . . . .put the stoopid design ****e all back agin:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: un the friggin fing started furst phookin time. . . .aint got a clue wot the fault wes,kicked porky up the arse fer whineing un er winjing. . . .i'm orft ta pub:eek: :eek: :eek:

yes but no but [the filter is after the pump] and there wez nuffink cummin outer the said pump. . . . . . . . . . .kick!!!!shorry bout thet ,but the stoopid mutt wez laffin at me :mad: :mad: :mad:
 
I only recently experienced the fun associated with what probably has to be one of the poorest designs of all times when I changed the filter. I made a real rookie mistake & didn't push the pipe on properly though I thought I felt it click home. I even test started the car before buttoning it all back up & put the wheel back on & it all seemed ok. Anyhoo, got about a mile up the road before it cut out pishing diesel everywhere & of course I had to get a tow up to a layby to redo the job properly..........and yes it was the awkward whole lot back out again pipe that needed done. Still this is nothing compared to the hash I made changing the oil filter & I used to be reasonably ok at doing my own servicing.
