Got in touch with tuning diesels. They can supply the connectors. They're on their spares page.
Cheap or non OE drive shafts are know to vibrate. This is normally accompanied by the gear stick shaking, especially so at slow speeds while accelerating.but I am convinced it a driveshaft now ! there only 2 months old

what would be good replacement parts ? And a recommended supplier?Cheap or non OE drive shafts are know to vibrate. This is normally accompanied by the gear stick shaking, especially so at slow speeds while accelerating.
Only GKN or genuine LR (made by GKN) shafts are suitable. GKN shafts are very distinctive, as the inboard joint has 3 large scallops around the perimeter.what would be good replacement parts ? And a recommended supplier?
Those are the worst faults .The problem I have is the vibration is so intermittent it’s hard to pinpoint!
So it's not the drive shafts, especially is the gear stick doesn't shake. The gearstick doesn’t wobble and when it’s ok it’s definitely ok
That's eliminated then. The prop is off now so not that ????
Not likely. What about back shafts or ird could they cause problem like min
Thanks your post are the bestThose are the worst faults .

It is possible you've got an injector going down at random intervals. Have you checked the injector plugs are secure and corrosion free?
I am in a mess with this to be honestI see Nodge has already suggested it, but I had something on my wife's late X-TRail that I could have also sworn was a misfire and was actually an inner CV join. The X-Trail is like the Freelander. It uses a tripod joint on the inboard end of each driveshaft. Quite surprising how it could shake the car, but not always. It was intermittent.

The drive shafts are new new not recon
And it’s so intermittent it’s difficult to believe it’s mechanical if I am making sense?
I been out and about today with no problems the car turns both ways full lock no banging or clunky shafts
And I am sure it’s as a loss of power when it starts
The bloody Cumbria weather is it’s usually nasty self so can’t see me putting the wiring upgrade tomorrow so one more week till I can eliminate that
Thanks for you input
I am putting my hope on the wiringYeah, I'm in Cumbria too - not much fun right now! Bit better this morning...
What a strange problem though? When we had the driveshaft problem with the X-Trail, there were no bangs or clunks and it steered fine The outboard CV joints were fine, it was just the tripod joint on the inboard end of one of them (Left Hand I think). Not really sure what else to suggest that hasn't already been suggested by everyone else.
