This weekend my offside rear door window malfunctioned. It was obvious the mechanism was faulty due to the grinding noise and associated window lift/drop problem.
Mine was stuck about 1cm down. Not too bad but enough for rain to get in.
I decided to take a look on here and found some help and i kind of knew what to look for anyway.
I took the pictures as i went to help others.
it was trial an error and a bit of "shoogling" whilst using the window switch to get the desired result.
I must point out I haven't fixed the broken part but i have done enough to close the window so i will repair it properly at a later date.
The work took about 30 mins.
Hope this helps someone at least.
if some of these pictures dont display, they can be found here too: http://s222.photobucket.com/albums/dd64/fatblokexl/Freelander window fix/?albumview=slideshow
