I"ve been reading the thread regarding this problem becaue my TC and Hill Descent warning lights come on.
It used to be very ocassionally but now it"s a daily occurence. One member said to select reverse with ignition on, engine off. So if the TC/Descent lights come on when you do this does that mean it"s the Reverse Light Switch at fault. IS IT STILL SAFE TO DRIVE WITH THESE LIGHTS ON?
Mines a 2003 TD4 AUTOMATIC.
cheers

Thanks for that Nodge68. Is changing a Brake Light Switch a job I can do on the drive? and will the brakes need bleeding after fitting?

Yes it can be done on the drive although I had to take the drivers seat out so I didn't break my back trying to fit one. No you don't need to bleed the brakes as it just slots in then reconnect the wiring connector
