Freelander TD4 Engine Tapping/Ticking sound

Hi All,
There is a tapping/ticking sound coming from the top of the engine TD4 , for the last few weeks and Yesterday I replaced the oil/filter added Wynns Hydraulic lifter treatment, drove it for about 10 miles and still no difference. Do I need to drive it for a lot more miles. do I replace the oil again.
Any suggestions .

If it's got the right oil you will be as fine as you can be, you may need to check the oil pressure to be sure? Which oil did you use?

The injectors can make a tick noise, try the 2 stroke in the fuel trick and see if it helps.

Thanks for your reply,
The Oil I used is castrol magnatec 10w40,
Will try the 2 stroke tomorrow and see does it help.
