The PCV valve is part of the crankcase filter assembly. It's the round thing which is to the right of the fluffy cotton wool filter. It should be stripped and cleaned at the same time as the filter is replaced.

Your blue smoke could also be attributed to the turbo seal letting by slightly more oil than it should. This coats the induction system pipework with a thin film of oil. A small amount of which can build up on the inlet vave and enter the combustion chamber when the engine is started.

Thanks for that i didn't know you had to clean that out I'll sort that out
As for the turbo seal do you think it's worth having done or should i just leave it has soon as the smoke has cleared its fine thanks

It's no cause for concern, unless the oil flow is so bad that the engine runs on it.
