Freelander TD4 '54 Misfire @ 1500-1700rpm + smoke

Hi,

Forum looks really good so just wondered if anyone might be able to help me with a problem i have on my Freelander. Here's the problem:
1. Misfires when stationary if hold revs between 1500-1700
2. Also produces white/blue smoke
3. Increase in fuel consumpsion ++++

Injectors sent away and came back fine. Diagnostics came up clear of faults. I am assuming it is a fueling problem but any suggestions as to how to go about diagnosing what is causing it or fixing it?

when it misfires , go around the engine bay gently touching the connectors and wiring looms especially the fuel rail sensor, and injectors, you might get lucky and pinpoint your problem

remove the large acoustic cover before you start,

Hi my TD4 does this ...... am totally puzzeled.......when driving it appears fine and generaaly does not smoke. I thought it was probably the injectors...... not passing the right fuel at light throttle loadings ............ please can you post your fix if you find fault

did anyone get a fix on this?
