Freelander Sunroof

Hi guys
I have a question! iv just brought my 1st freelander a week ago and so far im impressed. what im wanting to no is my car has sunroofs but its those solid black panels I no they can be taken out but I was wondering if I can just pop the glass panels in or not?

I would think so, as I have both the clear and 2 sets of solid, as they are great for fixing a lamp too when lamping, without the need to drill the roof, cant see why yours would be any different

straight swap, maybe a little adjustment on the fixing / locating clamps to get a perfect fit, as there is a slight variation, only noticeable with increased wind noise at speed.

not sure how to post a direct query so I'm just piggy backing this one lol. 56 plate freelancer glass sun roof. The frame is glued to glass and is completely knackered. Can you replace the metal frame or is is a complete unit with glass?

Is yours a 5 door?
If so a replacement glass and frame complete is the answer. 3 torx screws each side under a clip on plastic cover.
