Freelander steering wheel with audio controls

I was wanting to know if I could fit a steering wheel with the audio controls on to my Freelander are the connections there and does it work with the visteon single CD player or do indeed the 6 disc head unit cheers

Yes. I bought one off eBay last month for £50. Nice leather one with radio controls to replace my tatty vinyl one. Just remove the air bag and the nut in the middle then it's just a case of plugging the radio controls connector in which is already there. There's a good video on YouTube showing how to do it. Make sure you disconnect battery for 10 minutes first so that the airbag doesn't go off!

Just got the standard CD player on mine and the volume control/channel changer came fitted as new.

You can also buy the controls by itself on ebay. Do you need a steering wheel for the controls or can you fit it to any FL1 steering wheel? I would like some in mine.

But that would make your Freelander look less than perfect
