Freelander S plate Heating not working???

Hi, everyone I am new to this but I am looking for some advice.

My Freelander's heating/demist system was working fine today and all of a sudden just stopped working for no apparent reason. I changed the fuse and it still wasn't working, does anyone have any idea what could be wrong with it??

hi there is a resistor that more than probably the fault you can find them on fleabay

yes thats what it will be about 15 from main dealer and 10mins to fit

Is it still working on speed 4 but not 1,2 and 3? if so it will be the resistor and you can either buy a complete replacement or purchase new resistors and solder them in.

I fitted this kit last year and the resistors are far better quality than the originals

Hi everyone, thanx for your replies its not working on any speed, would I be able to buy a resister from a TMS motor Spares? Really can't do without my car!!!!!

If its not working on speed 4 then its not your resistor pack as this only controls speeds 1,2 & 3.

Check the electrical connections to the fan switch on the dash - mine gave up last year and opening the glove box under the steering wheel then slamming it shut again got it working

Hi, well I took it upto my mums friends garage and got him to have a look at it, turned out there was a lose connection to the left of the clutch just up a wee bit. Could of been knocked whilst driving or something.

Can't believe it was something so simple!!!!
