hi guys,a couple of weeks ago my turbo on my 2004 2.0 ltr diesel hse freelander gave up the ghost big time.
the mechanic who came to us said the turbo had blown and that the engine was not seized.
we have now fitted a replacement turbo and primed it using a syringe supplied,we have fitted a new oil filter and oil.
when we went to start the engine it turns over one maybe twice and then stops, this is as far as the engine turns.
we then manage to turn the engine manually using a socket and bar so the engine is not seized.
so we would be very gratefull for any advice.
many thanks.
