i bought my defender to be driven as and where it should..maybe the gaylander is best suited to the road then.

freelanders are not useless on the road, and they are adequate off the road aswell.
remember that they were not designed to be used at a pay and play site.

No they were desighned to keep garages like mine in work and they do it very well indeed i love em
and that goes for most/all of the rover group of vehicles i love em all equally
