freelander imobiliser bypass

does anybody know how to bypass the imobiliser on my 2000 v reg 2.0 diesel the fob just stopped the other day after parking it up went back to it next day could not open the door so i put new battery in still not working ive entered emergancy door code in as per so many key turns to one side then the other and can open door without the alarm going off but the horn beeps once , but the alarm still goes off if you lift the bonnet and the car does not start the dash lights up but nothing no starter motor ,

I sometimes have the same problem. On mine there is a red wire that goes to the starter motor. Try pulling this red wire off and then replacing it, it works for me!
 
As Long As You Are Entering First Digit In Eka By Turning Key To Unlock, The Beep Could Indicate The Remote Batteries Need Changing. If That Fails You Need To Get Another Couple Of Remotes Programmed By Dealer Using "test Book" And While You Are Doing That Get Them To Read The Correct Eka Code Just In Case The One You Have Is Wrong.

agree wiff sparky . . .the bleep is indicating low batt, git a new un and follow re-synchronise procedure ,never keep two fobs on same ring or one in motor. . . .

I HAVE CHANGED THE BATTERY FOR A NEW ONE AS IN QUESTION , IVE SEEN ON NET A PLACE IN STOKE ON TRENT THAT DOES SOMETHING TO CCU THAT TURNS OFF PERMANTLY THE ALARM AND IMOBILISER THEN JUST FIT A BETTER ONE COST £150 + VAT TO DO THE CCU HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS DONE
