Regarding rear bumper not sitting right, there are 2 slightly raised bits below body lights, which need hammered in, do it a bit at a time,need to go down about 4-5 inches with this. I take it you have removed the L shape brackets.
I have a couple of the back tailgate plastic panels if anyone is interested, makes a big difference, cost over 110 from dealers

You forgot to mention what you want for them. Ye might get more interest if you do.
 
Guys i've just finished my facelift conversion.... I had to make some 50mm spacers to bring the aluminium bumper armature out so that i could secure the bumper to it. After reading all the threads here about the facelift i can't see one that mentioned this?? Are you fitting the later bumper armatures also??

I know what your saying m8. My spare room is full (and i mean full) of fishing gear.
 
i just finish facelifted and faced some difficulties on how the new headlight operates.for example; when high beam is switched and which bulb will turn on. please help
 
oh. i got from sparepart shop here complete with same colour wires but there are 3 black wires and i a bit confuse on which i should connect to. old wiring has 3 black wires as well. is the black wire an earthing wire?
 
hi guys about to tackle the facelift project can anyone tell me if i need the whole complete bumpers or can i get away with using the mk1 bumper supports??
also anyone still selling plug and play looms for the convertion

I know this thread is old, but does anyone have any step by step photos as to the freelander facelift? This will be being done over the coming months on a 2003 freelander once I have sourced all the parts. A quick step by step guide would be brilliant if it was available!
