Hi all,

I have had my freelander TD4 02plate for about two months now, and unfortunately it has got some faults.

1 – TC & HDC lights come on, after reading previous threads I have asked the garage to order a brake light switch and hope for the best.

2 – The alarm goes off at random times, I noticed that the passenger door sensor doesn’t work, could be the reason?

The garage where I brought the car asked if I could drive my freelander to the mechanic he uses that specialises in Land Rovers, he would then plug it in and see what the faults were.

This page of faults came up with the fault code 255 appearing numerous times. He looked it up but was unsure of what it actually was. (He did say something about an injector problem but was quick to dismiss it).

So before he erased the faults I took a photo and wondered if anyone on this site knows of this fault, also if any of the other faults should be looked into.

Thanks for your help

Can anyone help? The car is going back to the garage on Friday and I would like to get the facts.

Thanks again

Could be they're fault codes from previous faults. Best to clear them and drive it then see if they come back. Some codes will come back with just the ignition on I think. Depends what the cause is.

Normally codes as of the style P0125. You display seems to show a lot of cam bus errors. This will be the different computers linked togther not talking. May be an internittent fault. Very quick comms loss then it's back again. As above clear and see what comes up afterwards.
