Air Bag!!!
SRS light comes on and does not go off when engine is running. I know this is the Airbag warning light. Does it need to go into a specialist or will a normal garage have a look. Help!!!

Just get a new airbag, disconnect the battery, wait 10-20 minutes for the system to discharge, 2x torx screws behind the steering wheel, air bag comes loose, disconnect the yellow wire, connect new airbag, tighten 2 screws, job done. Here is a video guide to help you along your way to. Hope it helps.

Come on guys you'll give him nightmares. A known fault is the wires under the seat become disconnected or dislodged while moving seat back and fore. It ignition is on when they are not making contact on comes the light and as it's a safety feature it can only be reset with a computer St a dealer or with a Hawkeye or similar.

You may find a local garage with the right connection to put it out. Mines on just waiting to take it in to local guy £15 fix

try unplugging the connections under the seta with ign OFF. clean the contacts with elect contact cleaner then replug. switch on and keep pinkies crossed. if not off to your local hawkeye owner! ( normally works on my 99¨TDi)
good luck
