Oh and I would remove your email and phone number. There is a PM function on here for a reason

is the slave cyl. mounting bracket all attached and not bent or broken, if so it probably needs new hydraulic system, all in one , can be fitted in about an hour, less if your handy with spanners, search on here is your friend, if you fix, make sure the clutch actuating arm is nice and free.

its stuck at home, Ive no idea what to do, what i know about cars you probably could write on the back of a stamp, give me a network or a pc and i can fix it.. a car however is another matter, so all help appreciated. How can i find what parts i need etc.
:( is there anyone local to stockport for assistance ?

NOTE: ive managed to get the parts master/slave bracket etc just need some idea of who i can get to fit in Manchester who can either pick up car or fix onsite..

AA, Rac, etc or try the yellow pages for a mobile mechanic ;)

:):) I wish to thank everyone that assisted me with this, part was Master Cylinder & slave as quoted previously, new part from ebay £50, and mobile mech £40 so all sorted for the fair sum of £90, so thanks again.. im back on the road..:)

no thanx to the engineer, misarable sod

It would have been helpful if someone had reported this post and asked for it to be moved. It's the wrong section and the OP would have been better off in the Freelander section.

So instead of getting into a slagging match next time please use the report button
