How was it tested?hey,
so the fuse FS10 Was tested with no power to it FS18 tested okay - so ill look at the motor to the roof panel module and test back to the fuse
Did you follow the above requested test?
Remove fuse FS10
Measure from one metal socket in the location where FS10 fits, to an earth.
Then measure the other metal socket in the location where FS10 fits, to an earth.
Note:
What I have called the metal socket is the metal plate that the fuse slots into. There are two of these that are NOT connected together. One plate connects to the power rail to FE18. The other connects to the sun roof motor. When you fit a working fuse it connects the two plates together via the fuse link.
A suitable earth is one that connects to the bodywork, like the screws securing the metal seat frame.
If you do the above test correctly and there is no volts measured from either socket to earth, then NO POWER is going into that socket. That means NO POWER will come out of the socket. If this is the case measure the battery. You will measure a voltage. This will test to see if your meter is working correctly. It there is no voltage measured then yer meter is broke'd or yer doing something wrong.
