is it poss that a new wheel bearing will bring up the ABS warning

recently bought this Freelander it was off the road for a while, replaced rear wheel bearings for mot and now I'm getting a rear left wheel ABS sensor not reading
replaced sensors but still the same fault

Welcome:)

answer, yes I think so but you need 1 of the FL gurus to explain something to do with type of bearing,Have you tried search function as I know a couple of the guys have discussed this recently.
I think @Nodge68 or @Hippo may be able to help with details, there’s a few more guys around but can’t remember.

Try this in search bar “bearing+abs”
Search in Freelander section and enjoy the afternoons reading.
Oh and please give more details of the hippo in question to help when the gurus come along:)

Changing wheel bearings shouldn't put any warning lights on, unless the sensors have been damaged in the process, or the wheel bearings have been put on the wrong way round.

You need the codes read, to identify what is causing the issue.

code C0037 rear left wheel sensor intermittent, I had her plugged in and drove down the street the rear left sensor was not giving me any speed readings I did try a new sensor and an old one both times

When I bought this jeep I took her a drive and she had no lights on and no faults but I heard a wheel bearing noise at the rear so I replaced both rear wheel bearings.

Then I got an ABS fault so replaced both rear cables at the time due to not having my laptop to plug in at that moment. Also I had the HDC fault appear on the dash??

Got laptop up and running plugged in after replaced the sensors and still got rear left wheel sensor fault
