After some advice on rear diff mounts. I'm considering changing to poly bushes, has anyone tried them? Any pros and cons would be appreciated.
Cut the rubber out then polish the inside with a dremel and soft grit wheel

Easy job.
Took the drive shaft off yesterday as well to replace knackered vcu bearings, that was quite easy as well, if not a bit fiddly. Also passed its mot last week, I must be doing something right. You found an easy job on your Freelander? makes a nice change.

thanks i will try that should be easy as i have new mounts to work withPS. Mark your bracket small and large to represent the way the poly bush goes in. Rule of thumb, the larger part of all three bushes point towards the rear diff.
I found all three on mine were knackered so you might as well buy the three bush kit and do them all at the same time. Thanks for that. I will try one on the front mount.
I just did the front one with a poly bush, as recommended by one of the knowledgable guys on here, the back two I replaced with the rubber ones. I reckon the ones I replaced were the originalsI found all three on mine were knackered so you might as well buy the three bush kit and do them all at the same time.
