From your descriptions, I'm not really sure of the problems you are experiencing. It sounds like the engine will start and run - just not respond to the accelerator peddle.

I am not familiar with the TD4 - should the EML light come on with the other lamps for self test - but also go out with them? If so why is the EML light lit? Have you been able to read the diagnostic codes?

I believe the TD4 ECU has a 'limp mode', and I believe the ECU will also inhibit start for various reasons, but I'm not sure if there is ever a reason why the ECU would allow 'idle only'.

I'm sure if ever there was a case to get diagnostics on a car - this is it. However, if that is not possible, it does look like the first part to swap out is the TPS - can you get parts from a breakers locally for Freelander?

Tq,sir
checked the tps potientemeter with multimeter there is no supply coming out from ecu ,
No supply to tps/accelerator pedal , 5v gone
No supply to fuel rail sensor , 5v gone
No supply to fuel filter sensor , 5v gone

And whats the output voltage from maf/iat sensor to ecu ? Cz output voltage mine gets 1.235 when
rpm 835 .
wires are okay ,there is have continuity.
Tq in advance.

It looks like your ECU isn't supplying the 5 Volt sensor output. As to why this would be, can't say. It's possible (but unlikely) that all 5 V output are parallel, so if one is pulled to ground, then all would pull down. I doubt all 5 Volt sensor outputs are parallel though, as they normally have internal resistor to prevent such things.

Maybe your ECU has suffered 5 Volt regulator failure? That's very unusual though.

Nop i test cmp sensor ,turbo pressure sensor , mass sensor is getting 5v from ecu
Fuel regulater works fine
Only fuel sides n pedal sensor ecu cuts 5v

yes sir, i found tat 5v reference voltage isnt supplied from ecu ,,, so my ecu ill get burn or ecu turn into safety mode to prevent short circuit ? tq sir

My td4 starts but runs lumpy for a minute and then runs like a dream but no accelerator pedal response at all I've changed the pedal and tps for a brand new one still having same issue all 3 amigo lights have only just come on I can't figure it out for the life of me please tell me somebody has a fix for me
