Free (for charity donation) Range Rover ICE unit, boom box, amp, CD multichanger

I salvaged this lot today instead of skipping it on a restoration job....it seemed a shame to see it go for scrap weighing.

I don't know if it works or if it's complete, but it does power up

Range rover OEM ICE Head unit, RDS, with cassette player built in, CD multichanger, 4 channel amp, and the big black box is apparently a boom box (sub wooofery thing)

There is no CD cartridge in the changer unit.
Some wires have been cut (I didn't realise the big box was a woofer thingy so I cut the wires to that myself )

There's a long (4 mtr or so?) multi pin connector cable that goes from the head unit to the CD changer, so I guess the box is supposed to go in the boot with the cd changer on it (there is a bracket, not pictured)

There's a little baggy of nuts n bolts to go with it, but there may be a little bodging to remount properly (again, I'm not sure)

Don't want any money for it, but my other half is doing a 5k run for cancer research soon, so a donation to that would be a suitable payment :cheer2:

If no one else goes for it I would certainly lilke to grab it for my lad's motor. He is building a series 3 and will need some in car entertainment!

There's a fair chance I can get it closer to you through mates on trucks or something though

That he does... I didn't say that the system would be permanently in the vehicle. It would be simple to make it so that it slides out, most of the gubbins wouldn't normally be visible anyway.

In any case... it was a thought... If the damn thing is gonna be tossed out then fitting it on a removable mount would be better than wasting it don't you think?

If he doesn't like the idea then I'll sling it in the disco!
