Looking for some advice please. Iv always owned discovery's but want to buy a 90. Probably looking around a 1990/91 ish. Thing is I have 2 young children so wanted to know how easy/expensive it would be to fit 'proper' seats in the rear? Any info much appreciated.

I've got 2 rear forward facing seats in the back of my 90 and with both seats folded out you can't get between them to get out the back door. So you have to fold 1 seat down at a time and then exit. Might not be the best idea for young kiddies..................

You would be better getting a 110 with rear seats ;)

Thanks. Tried doing search but I'm using my phone (as at work) and gave up. Prefer a 90 as want something that's going to have less overhang off road.

Does the 110 suffer off road due to the extra length/overhang?

Just seems that sometimes my discovery struggles off road where shorter 90s don't.

I have got the Exmoor middle seat with headrest in the front for one of our kids (my mother can also fit in it), and one side facing rear seat from Exmoor for the smallest, stops fighting in the back too. We go on holiday towing a caravan, 4 bikes (1 on the roof and 3 in the back), 2 weeks of camping gear etc. You could go with 1 forward-facing rear seat and 1 middle front seat. You would need a 3 point harness belt in the front seat though.

Mine is a 1991 Defender 90 by the way.

not noticed too much yet, theres a couple of us in 110s that go out laning, its more the turning circle that seems to hinder than overhang/length/weight
