Pees me off when people pop up selling their 'unwanted project' without an intro, without even trying to pretend to contribute to the forum, and then decry our attitudes!

I can't be bothered to reply to the moron directly, suffice to say I seriously doubt he'll be on any of the laning trips I ever lead ... whether he wanted to be or not ..

Where have I 'laid the law down'?

If you'd at least written an intro, contributed a small amount then you can sell whatever you like. You didn't, I happened to be on and in a bad mood, you popped up ... I open me gob .. I don't see where that's laying any law down.

OTOH, if you do go laning and get stuck and are anywhere near Doncaster then I'd be happy to help out ..

There is just a certain way of doing things round here. Whizz over to the "introduce yourself" section, say hello, don't take anything personally and you'll be fine.

There is more knowledge and help here than any other forum I've been on. There is even an international rescue service!

Oh, and my offer still stands.
 
Chrs bud for early help tow out lol i actually did post "hi all" the other day when i joined and i have paid subscription to the site before i advertised!.

If the engine blows up on a £1000 fiesta and you spend £4000 re-building it, the vehicle it's attached to is still only worth £1000. With the blown engine the vehicle is only worth scrap value £150 ish. I too think you are optimistic with your price.

Are you going to be replacing it with another landy or are you leaving the folds of landy ownership behind you?
 
Hi thanks for reply Once i get sort i will probably get a defender 90, because after doing a 4x4 day course last year in winter its hard not to want a landrover and to get it stuck in the mud its awsome lol.
