You know those not-so-quick jobs, that turn out to be even longer than you expected because of some rusty bolt etc. or some cock-up.
Well for anyone wanting a good laugh, and some consolation.
Attempting to replace my passenger side footwell today. Started cutting it out - the higher metal is solid so no need to fully remove the wing etc. Anyway happily I go with the angle grinder, trying to keep it shallow so nothing in the engine bay gets touched ...
Well - today I managed to successfully angle grind my way through my metal brake line, just behind the passenger footwell. The one through to the passenger side front brake. Great. Talk about turning an already long job into a days long job. Now off to find a replacement brake line online and spend my weekend bleeding the brakes ...
