One for the rivet counters!

I know that the S1 sometimes had windscreen supports...simple little folded metal bracket type things that were attached to the bonnet and usually had a bit of webbing on top, that supported the weight of the windscreen when it was folded down.

Can anyone tell me if the same setup was ever found on a S2 (obviously without the spare wheel on the bonnet!)

I'm building a Toylander for my son, and any Toylander experts may notice a few departures from the plans in an effort to make this one more realistic. I don't want a spare wheel on the bonnet as it looks a bit naff and out of scale, hence me thinking about going down the screen support route.

Thanks in advance!

(And yes I know it's got S3 door hinges...much easier to make and less likely to cause any damage!)

Like it:) All the 2/2a ragtops I recall have the bonnet spare wheel mount if not the wheel its self. You could go with that.
Have a look at series 2 club website, plenty of pics.
