hi there it deals about a series 2a originally petrol but diesel 2.5 has been build. Also no clue if its pos earth or not. Its 24 V system.
My flasher or blinker doesnt work any more. I do have 4 pins relais.
As is was;
4 pins labelled 49 49a c and c2, 24v is on 49a I got brown/green on 49, purple/green on c2 and two wires black to the flasher lights on the dasboard. If I put volt meter between 24v and the wires I do get following;
in any position of the steering switch 24V exept between 24V and brown/ green in the neutral switch position.
If I look on the internet, they are saying 49 connect to 24v , 49a earth, c and c2 control lights. Does this mean I do have a positive earth system? also why 2 wires on one pin, how does it know to left or right control light. I assume the relais is broken however its a mechanical thing, ordered a new one, perhaps problem solved otherways no clue, what are your thoughts?
