It is on a fl1, not sure on a fl2.
fuel burning heater - used to preheat the coolant in cold weather.

Ah right... that was discussed by the garage, they thought the same but checked and said it wasn’t. Where is the fbh on FL2 ? (Just so I know for future) Thanks
Sorry.. just seen video above so that answers location and looks about the same type of smoke. Does it smell really strong?

I,dont have a fuel burning heater on mine, it is only the `s` model so I have no toys.
but that looks like it is coming from the turbo area,if oil has run down the pipe to the turbo I don't know if it would smoke or rev up
somebody else on here might have better knowledge.also the air intake pipe looks different as though it has been changed, as it is different to mine .

Yes, they diagnosed the Turbo which was replaced (not by them though) and still had same problem... spent £4K on this car in the last few months and I I’m still getting problems... sigh
The fbh looks expensive to replace if it’s that, just don’t know when to stop and call it a day.

Why would you want to replace it? It is doing its job. Only coming on when temp is low. Apparently it smells a bit like household gas.

But why would it smoke when you’ve traveled 100 miles on the motorway? Or after a 10 mile trip in the snow? The car is pretty warm by then so it’s not when I’m starting up.

I wouldn’t worry.
Sometimes you just have to wait till it goes bang!
It might be worth asking LR dealer to check if you have a fbh, to be on the safe side.
