Fitting/wiring winch.

Hi.

I am hoping that my new winch and bumper will arrive today.. Is there any 1 way of routing wires back to the battery that is preferential/easier?? Not really looked at it yet but just thought I'd draw on everyone else's experiences so I only do this once!!

ran mine thru the engine bay and then underneath and came up alongside the gearbox and into the seat box.make sure you cover any ares of the wire that will chaff on any body parts with plastic shroud,i done the whole cable to be sure.make sure you also fit a kill switch.job will take a morn or aftnoon for 2 of ya.also fit a rubber grommit where the wires enter the seat box..good luck

Winch has finaly arrived but still waiting for my bumper!!

Where is the best place to mount the solenoid box? Mine is only supplied with short wires so will have to replace these. Just concerned that remote needs to plug in so needs to be somewhere accessible. Thanks.
