I'm fitting flip up seats to replace the bench seats in my Series III SWB.
Now I've got one of the old benches out and am offering up the bac kof the flip up seat the legs seem a little short. Am I missing something literally or just can't see how it should fit? The clips are below the sill of the window and I was expecting them to come up a good 3cm higher. Here's a picture, the feet are on sitting hard on the top of the wheel arch:
