Hi guys .. on my defender td5 110 looks like I may need to fit new bushes ..

getting them out is one thing , whats the best way to put them back in ?

I dont have a press ... can they be hammered in ? or thought about using a bit of studding or a long bolt and screw them in with my impact wrench ...

what the best way , I haven't taken them off yet ..

cheers Andy

lol... not sure , I must have missed that one ..

there must be a cheap flea bay tool for this ...

If I fitted poly bushes do these require as much effort putting in ?

Just fitted the britpart poly bushes to my front radius arms......easier than expected and handling is great!
To get the old ones out, drill the rubber bit (chain drill around it) to release the inner sleeve. Then use a hack saw to slit the outer sleeve. It should then be easy to knock it out of the arm with a drift or punch or old screwdriver...

I will deff , get the poly bushes when fitting new ones ..

I have seen a few diff methods of getting the old ones out , will give them ago ..

I’ve never failed using the method above. On occasion I have had to cut the outer sleeve twice (opposite each other) but it’s always worked.
Good call re poly bushes!
