Hi All

I have searched and although it seems to have been asked a few times I can not find a simple answer or guide.

I have purchased a exmoore trim Cubby box which has the wooden box section on the bottom of it.

I have removed the middle seat complete with the metal rails.

only help I have found by searching is people saying drill 4 holes!!

Just need a quick idiots guide from someone who has fitted the part, does it simply sit in the inspection hole? I didnt like the idea of this but couldnt see another obvious way.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tony

I fastened mine to the inspection panel, take panel out, drill 4 holes, screw or bolt box to plate, reinstall.
just make sure its far enough back to get at the securing screws for the cover.

Top tip, use the strongest Velcro you can find, worked on mine a treat,

attach to inspection panel and fi some extra batons in wooden box section,

add 2 screws to the rear of the inspection panel, I bent mine before the Velcro let go lol

This way you can still use the inspection panel and adjust the position of the cubby box if you wanted

I cut some heavy rubber stable matting to fit exactly into the seat box are where the inspection panel is then screwd that to the bottom of my cubby. Lifts out easy when i want it to and never moves when i dont. Also adds a bit more sound proofing and insulation.

Thanks for the replies guys I like the Velcro idea. And thanks for making the four hole thing clear.

I stuck it in the hole this morning and it actually fits really well but I don't like the idea of only having the mdf between me and the road.
