Fitting a Weber carb

How easy is it to fit a Weber carb, for somebody who has a bit of a reputation for being a cretin with a spanner? Is there a simple-to-follow walkthrough guide available anywhere or would I be best off finding somebody who actually knows what they are doing?

fitting the carb is fairly easy . i believe the trouble starts with the linkage for it
