Fitting a second hand LPG kit. What do I need to know?

Hello, I'm the proud new owner of a 2000 P38 4.0 with a Turner block, flanged liners and stage 1 heads.
I'm now thinking LPG.
I know almost nothing about LPG and I have no business to be working on such a system but that's never stopped me before.

I'm thinking about keeping costs down by buying something like this:

So my questions are:
Is this a good idea?
What pitfalls do I need to be aware of to avoid?
Are there any questions I should be asking the seller?
Are there any specific brands/models/types to avoid?
When fitting any common mistakes I should know about.
Am I likely to have problems getting a certificate for insurance?
What am I not thinking of?

Start by practising driving diwn all the motorways at 50mph, this is where most v8models seem to spend their lives!

No point in messing with LPG now. LPG as a road fuel is due to be withdrawn completely in 2024, and most LPG selling stations are already withdrawing it.
We recently had a curtesy car which was LPG, we had to travel 30 miles just to get to a petrol station actually still selling the stuff, as the 6 local stations to us had stopped selling LPG.

There's still a place for it in my view. Cheaper and cleaner than petrol.
EVs aren't going to replace all petrol cars as people still want to drive classics so I think the government are missing a trick here.

In 20 years time we might be having a similar conversation regarding petrol.

Government missing a trick as in applying £1.50 tax per litre and charging mainstream prices.
 
Not quite sure how you phase out lng, so something has got to be done. I’ve an lpg system sat waiting to go on a p38. Tbh I don’t use it enough to be concerned about 15mpg :D
That's the other factor.
When I did mine I was using it as daily drive. For the past several years I do less than 2000 miles annually as I have other vehicles so for me to do it now would make no sense finacially.
That said, I've just done the annual Leicester to Cornwall holiday run towing & LPG using the app wasn't an issue with prices varying from 69.9ppl to 99.9ppl - unleaded had dopped back to mid/low 180sppl (177ishppl in many supermarkets) but Gordano services were doing it at 202ppl. Gordano also has LPG & it was 77.9ppl on the return.
 
Can be detrimental to your RV8 (esp. 4.6L) due to increased combustion chamber temperatures
LPG outlets are few & far between, many have ceased retailing the product due to storage costs/low demand
Difficulties in filling the tank to capacity under certain ambient temperatures
Need to cover high mileage to re-coup the system's installation cost
LPG due to be withdrawn within the next 2/3 years
