Ok, I'm now completely lost. I have been offered a transfer box of a P reg disco 1 300tdi and I want to use it on my 2002 TD5. Will it be a direct swap or will it require modifications? I have read multiple threads and some people say its easy, some say there's drilling and tapping, some say there's extra sensors and connectors. What's the situation with it?

it will fit but you wont have high/low switch , you could fit a switch in cab , hand brake assembly will just swap over no drilling or tapping holes

not on a 300tdi aged box, and a disco 2 box is of no use to you
