fitting a 300 tdi discovery engine to a 2.5 na 110

went for the power steering engine is now in after a lot of ****ing around had to cut o/s engine mount off and move it back but it sits in perfect now has anyone or do you know someone who has a passenger side complete or as near as defender door please if so where and how much

oh and guys if anyone else is thinking of doing this swap i took some handy pics of where to move engine mounts to and what studs to take out of gear box etc

I have a landy 110 with 2.5 na engine
Im trying to swap it for a 300tdi, I have the 300tdi engine and r380 gearbox.
Can anybody tell me what else or list of parts I nees for the swap

If you have a military spec 1.66 transfer box then you may want to change that at the same time. 1.66 with TDI will accelerate nicely but top out around 70mph screaming. Get a 1.4 or 1.2.

Having read the thread - i have a coupe of questions if there is anyone willing to shed some light!

I have a military 110 2.5 n/a diesel and am looking to do the same conversion as the thread, i have managed to get a clean running 300tdi disco series 1 gs with crash damage on the rear and a goosed tail pipe.

i want to fit the whole lot across including the R380 gearbox. Is it all the same as described for the 2.5 n/a petrol? And will i need any further parts other than new exaust tail pipe and egr blanking?
