Hi All,

I have seen this answered before, but I will go over old ground a little. I have just fitted a Britpart radiator from Paddocs to my 90. The water pipes are all good, but on my old radiator there were no O rings between the pipes and the radiator, so I fitter a copper washer which does not work at all, I now have an oil leak from the oil cooler.

Can someone let me know what type and size of O ring I need between the pipe and cooler please. Then I can go buy one tomorrow and get on with getting the car on the road.

Just to let you know the old radiator was buggered but the pipes did seal.

Thanks in advance.

Hi All,

I'm wondering now if its tapered oil cooler pipes and a radiator that takes O rings, I'll put a picture up in the morning, I do have O rings but I will see what it looks like.

Are there adaptors out there from Taper to O ring?

Ok now resolved, I took the oil cooler connectors from the old radiator, gave them a very good clean put some ptfe tape on the threads and re-used them. All done!!!

Phew...

However, spoted my fuel pump is leaking and also I added some ultra violet dye to the coolent to see if there are any other leaks, I only have the matrix and one pipe left now to go wrong then its a head off.
