Hello all !

Thought I would show you my old girl ! She's made it though an mot today after a short rest of 4 years did not even get any advisory notes !

She's a 3.5 V8 conversion I did in 2005 has parabolic springs and es9000 shocks
Pug 205gti seats and heated windscreens

I know it sounds sad but I have missed her and feel I have let an old friend down by waiting this long to sort her out !

Just need to order the new roof now as the old one is about done !
Can I be cheeky and ask if any one has any recommendations for a good canvas roof ??

Now she has an mot I can give her a good clean up and re paint !!

She looks a bit like an ageing beauty at the moment I will up date the pics when she's back to her former glory !! :)

to be honest i love em in the rough and ready state, they look more original.

but to each his own, i won't slate yer if she gets a new tilt and coat of paint :)
 
This was her in her glory days ! Not all shiny but I used to think just the right level of rough ! New tilt is just because the old one is about a a foot too short now !!

Nice Landy and good job on the MOT.

There have been a few NOS tilts on ebay recently - worth saving a search on there and get notified when they come up.

i thought that the straps had broke!



oh and try to resize your photos before posting , i keep having to scroll forty foot to the right to see yer pics :)
