Just came across this site which is v useful if you're new to the TD4 engine (as I am) and are still finding your way around it.

Some of the peripherals are a little different on the Rover 75 & MG ZT, but basically its the same BMW M47R engine.

Some nice pics and a good explanation of how it works.

just now replaced the cv filter with the bmw part ..
.. was trying to figure the flow direction ..

'n been wanting some m47r diagrams ..

just went for a test drive after fitting the bmw crankcase vent. part ..
i'm amazed at the difference it made !!

thought the motor was pretty good beforehand ..
now .. it's even smoother 'n quieter ..

the ousted filter wasn't particularly dirty either . just a tad oily
and the housing / valve .. were clean .. just a film of oil
