Finally I am back home after being away since January and was able to go and pick up the Landy that I bought with out inspecting what so ever...
1974 series 3 with a 300TDI and some defender (ninety?) parts, bonnet, front grill, doors, engine.
This is my first Land rover so it is clearly a project for my spare time. I posted pictures before but I finally got some more and its definitely a project.

so far the only thing that doesn't work are the headlights, bumper lamps and running lights, but as far as I can tell everything else works fine and drives good, apart from being a absolute pig to steer when going slow because of the over size tires.

With all those relays and interesting wiring i dont think there is much Series electrics left. At least they used different colored wires though

I don't think there is any series wiring left... Its going to be interesting to learn as I attempt to fix it. But tell then its only getting driven on good clear days.
