Filling with fuel - problems!

Hi

My other half has a 51 plate commercial freelander, its a TD4.

Problem being trying to get diesel in to it! the cut off on the pumps just kicks in straight away, takes and absolute age to fill the tank.

Anyone have any idea of the cause? or better still a solution!

don't stuff the hose so far down it.

Doesnt matter if you just balance it slightly inside, same effect.

Does it happen no matter where you fill up?
Or is it one parculiar garage?

Ahhh

Sorry no ideas.

I have had this problem a couple of times, but only when the garages supply was low.

Yes! someone just recently posted the same problem on here,You'll have to have a look for it though, but it was recent and quite an easy fix.
clutchdust replied if that helps.
