Here's a pic of the offside engine mount that I made for mine

And how it fits around the oil filter

And here's what I did to the exhaust just heated it up and bent it to get the right shape

The disco air intake pipe onto the turbo fits perfectly. I'm actually very happy with how it all goes together

It was 8 and 10 mm doesn't need to be that thick in places though but I like over engineering :D

Erm off the shelf we've got about a tonne of plate steel ;)

i am leaving the lt77 box in, but took the plate off the na to put on to then 300tdi, what clutch should buy for a 2.5 na or a 300tdi ?
what exhaust should i buy for it, or do i have to mix and match,
and as any one done this if so what did you do about then air box as iam wanting to fit a snorkel,
and i think that all for now,
i did a search and all come up with hasten told me what i need to no, any help would be appreciated

You can leave the 300tdi back plate on.

The clutches are all the same, just get a good one - change EVERYTHING, fork, bearing the lot. Also, get a HD fork or weld a plate across the back of the pivot point to strengthen it.

If your mounting it in the LT77 position you will need to shorten a 300tdi downpipe a bit to make it fit then use normal 300tdi parts.

I've still not got round to fitting an air box and just used a stupid induction pod thing until I got round to it, that was in 2009! But I am going to make one and use a common filter, maybe you could use one of those induction filter housings and make something up with that.

Remember your oil cooler hoses and things will be too short, I have the 300tdi radiator so needed to get a hydraulic firm to make me up two pipes, I just gave them the pipes and got them to make something up suitable for hot motor oil in the right length. They look smart.

Coolant pipes, mix and match, I think a 2.5TD top pipe worked and the bottom one will fit anyway.

If you can weld I would just move the brackets to be honest.

I just extended my oil cooler pipes by cutting them in the middle, adding 20cm of small gauge stainless pipe then using 2 jubilee clips on each end- cheap and it's not leaked in 4 years.

For now I've used a discovery 300tdi air filter/intake hose mounted on the inner left wing - they are a bit more difficult to seal for wading though.

Don't forget to change the spiggot bush, release bearing and rear crank seal whilst the engine is out ;)
