At last I have joined the best Landy forum on the web For years I have searched it when I have had a problem with one of my old Landys, so a belated thank you everyone who has posted and payback time for me to share my (limited) knowledge and help other owners.
Back in the 80's I was driving across the bleak moors section of the M62, in driving rain and mist, following a Series Land-Rover and it was love at first sight. I rebuilt my first SWB SII, an ex RAF 1968 which I still own today. Later a 1972 SWB SIII, used daily and have sat on a 1962 LWB SII waiting to be restored.
Decided that the true last of the Range Rovers is the P38 and spent a long time searching for a very late (Reg July 2002) Vogue 4.6
I work on one of them almost daily, and can most likely share with folk what not to do rather than what to do
