Folks, the information screen on my TD6 has been changed for some aftermarket thing by a previous owner.
As such I cannot access the FBH settings.
Is it possible purchase a remote control kit in order to use the FBH?

Firstly I'd check if you have the remote start module fitted or find the plug. If it is you can pull the plug and short the white/green and orange/yellow to try and start the FBH. You will also need to remove the temp sensor from behind the front grill and stick it in ice cold water as the FBH only works at below 6 degrees.

We managed to find this thing but goodness knows how to fit it.
Any ideas?

You need to try what I suggested above before you start wasting money on remotes for something that may not work. Once you know it works then we can help with the remote. On my 2005 with the car parked and locked up on the drive it's the FBH that wakes up the cars HVAC so it may not work with an aftermarket head unit. It may also stop working once you start the car and that tries to take control.
