Hi all
I still havent got to the fault of my heaters yet...thought i would try here again before i go to main dealer....2003 td4 freelander...no air getting through into cabin from any vents, renewed motor and resister, took dash out and checked all vents working ok,put on computer but no fault codes found....I can hear all the vents opening when control buttons are turned also the fan is turning ok,air wont blow from outside or interior circulate...running out of ideas know and looking like it may be a main dealer job....any last ideas guys????

do you mean the flexi rubber pip in the passengers side footwell between the air con box and the heater motor,if so i have disconnected this pipe and there is a slight trickle of air blowing from the heater motor towards the air con box....when on 4 there is very slightly air coming through the vents but hardly anything

Acording to Rave there are two controls attached to the heater - air blend and air distribution - via cables and connectors. Worth taking a look to see if they are both functioning as you seem to have done everything else. Hope it helps.

Is the fan working correctly ? Isn't the fan (vanes) running loose on it's axle and kind of "freewheeling" giving that slight airpassage??
