Hi folks
I have an old Hawkeye diagnostic. I tend to connect it to my Disco 2 TD5 every couple of weeks just to check if any faults (DTCs) have appeared (as a preventative measure).
Today, I decided to connect it as the 'sound' the engine was making seemed slightly unusual. Despite this the car performed well on the motorway (I do around 100 miles every day on the motorway).
I found the following faults logged in the EMS that I had never before seen:
(Fault 3016 - Inlet air temperature high fault logged)
I went into the 'Live Data' section to find out what the system thinks the inlet air temperature is (engine off). It recorded 61.9 degrees:
I also noticed two further faults logged (code 3213 and 3215) for Injector Open Circuit (injectors 1 and 3):
Any ideas if these are all linked? What should I do first (without loading a parts cannon!)?
Thanks
Mark
