I hear a fan starts blowing on and off in the engine compartment when i park.It is located behind the battery.It goes some seconds stops and starts after 30 sec.I think it is the heater fan.

Is yours a diesel ?
If so, it's the fuel burning heater getting ready to turn on or shutdown
Left side of the engine bay is the fans in the ECU compartment
Both noises should stop after a few minutes

Hi! Yes it is a diesel.It is on the right side on my lhd.Is it nurmal that the fbh fan should start when fbh is not operated?

the FBH awakes as soon as you open the doors with the remote locking fob.
if you dont start the car the cycle just stops.

Thanks hippo! I have enough trouble with my power steering and the central door locking.Took me 2 hours to open the tailgate today .And only the front doors would lock.I was at a breaker ad got a uses becm i will try to get programmed.

what BCEM did you get ?
as im pretty sure the doors are controlled by the BCM and security module ?

Hi! it isthe ywc000921 523d inside the "circle". Is the dwa the security module? I paid £20 for both.

thats the one.
good price that, as long as it works. lol
as the early ones had issues that where resolved with the later model that has a different model number.
will deffo need programming.
