Series 3 Fails to stay started ?

I would have said condensor on the dizzy. Always worth having a handful of them in storage. Hope you get it back on the road for the weekend.

Well - Ignition barrel changed and now back on the road - it’s amazing how loose the old key was compared to the new new , and guess what it seems my intermittent ignition light issues seems to have disappeared as well . So that’s that sorted - moving on now to the next challenge that has shown up - seems hard to see it being related , but twice now after going out for a 20 minute drive run , running perfectly I’ve experienced after about 20 mins the engine fade and cut out and when eventually restarting running roughly - Left overnight starts & runs fine again , fuel seems to flow , coil relatively new , electronic ignition - mystery at the moment

Check gauze around fuel pick up pipe in tank if it sucks up lots debris onto gauze it may stop petrol flow then drops off when engine stopped?
