Freelander 1 Facelift & non face lift wing mirrors

Hi guys

On my face lift someone's hit my nearside wing mirror, which is still fine other than the heated bit no longer seems to work.

I have a non face lift (currently dead) and was wondering if they are a direct swap?

If the glass didnt break you can pop the mirror off, theres a wire that connects to glass for the heating it might have popped off

Glass is intact but how do I pop it out without it breaking?

I just pushed the mirrors nearside right in so theres a nice gap on the right then gently gently work my hand into the gap and pop it off. Its been fine for me but a quick google search has uncovered other having problems with broken clips ect. So theres probably a better way

The mirrors are the same for pre and post facelift. There are 2 types, power fold and manual fold.
