Like many Freelander owners, I have dogs and would dearly like a Rear Window Dog Guard fitted, to let the rear window down in the summer while protecting the mutts from being nicked or jumping out.
I found a nice rear guard on EBay, but like most that end up for sale there, they don't come with the original fixing kit, eg the template, the 2 steel bolting sleeves, sundry bolts and grommets.
Does anyone have a kit they would sell me? If not, does anyone have one of the steel sleeves from the kit, that they could have fabricated at a local welders, or steel fabricators? They look like they may not be too difficult to make for a couple of Pounds.
This could get a lot of new owners of older cars out of a pickle - these fixing kits are almost impossible to find.
